You can’t deny it. Here in Texas we love sweet tea. If a restaurant doesn’t serve sweet tea you can almost gaurantee they won’t make it that long. You just don’t not serve it!
This is all partially why I was so excited about being contacted by Moonshine Sweet Tea to do a giveaway. I absolutely love sweet tea and I’ve actually been drinking Moonshine sweet tea for quiet a while now. If ever i’m running low I make sure to go to one of the farmers markets here in Austin to get my fix.
Moonshine Sweet Tea got started in 1940 by Grandpa Cobb. He began making and selling the tea out of his garage and ever since then they have been using the exact same recipe.
One of the reasons I love this brand of tea is because they have such great values. They brew all of their tea in small batches, using real leaves no powders or additives, to ensure great quality. The great thing about selling the tea in a concentrated form is that it cuts down on waste by 3200%, making them a huge leader in environmentally friendly companies.
Although it has been freezing here in Austin, this frozen sweet tea granita can be a perfect food option for your next holiday party. Whether as a palate cleanser in between courses or as a dessert this is the perfect treat for Texans, or anyone really.
If it does seem too cold for the whether outside, one option is to put some granita in a bowl, squeeze lemon juive over top, and filled with rum or vodka. It will cool you down and warm you up.
This giveaway includes 2 bottles of Moonshine Sweet Tea concentrate, 2 novelty bar towels, a novelty tablecloth, mason jar glass, straws, and a $25 gift card to Wiggys Wine and Spirits on East 5th downtown.
Not bad huh?
