Vegan Eats New Zealand

The first day that I arrived into Queenstown, I got off of my bus and began walking in search of my hostel. While walking I happened to pass a place that I thought was a club from all of the people surrounding the entrance, later I would find out this place is not a club but instead the one and only Ferburger.

At first glance Fergburger looks like just another burger joint but they happen to have two AdobePhotoshopExpress_9073f7646e974672ac1ba18c6a620b1cvegetarian options readily available, The Bun Laden(falafel, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cucumber, avocado, chili sauce, aioli, and lemon yoghurt) and the Holier Than Thou(tempured tofu, coconut coriander sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cucumber, snow pea shoots, and aioli).

I personally had the Bun Laden, minus the lemon yoghurt and aioli, two days in a row because it was that good! Huge, filling, and absolutely addictive. And let’s not forget the delicious fries! Perfectly crunchy and salty, they will fulfill all of your savory cravings.

Little Birds Organics – Auckland

AdobePhotoshopExpress_60a1666485b545368a85b315baee4d9bWhen planning my trip to New Zealand, I knew I wanted to spend my birthday there. So I arrived 4 days beforehand to get over jetlag and be ready to celebrate. Funny enough my birthday fell on Anzac day and almost everything was closed. But, me being the planner I am, I decided to head to his amazing little vegan bakery not too far from my hostel the day before to by myself a little treat for the big day.

Little Birds Organics is the cutest little vegan bakery you could lay your eyes on and with a wide variety of goodies on display, the hardest part of your day will be deciding what to choose. I pretty much salivated looking at all of the delicacies and went with the raw vegan black forest cheesecake.  Best decision.

Rich, sweet, and absolutely addictive! If I had more time in Auckland I’m pretty sure all of my money would go here. It is seriously that good. If you are in Auckland, regardless if you are vegan or not, I beg you GO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! You will not regret it!

Bonus goodies: Vegan snacks

Frooz Balls

Thankfully I was able to find these pretty regularly at Countdown and New World and they were perfect for on the go snacking. Healthy and delicious, made with all natural ingredients, they are the perfect energy balls.

Naturally Nood Bars

When it comes to healthy vegan bars it can sometimes be hit or miss. Nood bars go above and beyond and are one of my favorites! With a rich chocolate taste you will feel lie you’re eating something super indulgent. But go ahead, eat up and feel great!
